Accommodations

The lodge has comfortable accommodations. There are 10 private rooms with queen beds, providing a cozy haven for individual guests, and 1 double room with 2 queen beds, perfect for those seeking shared accommodations. While the lodge is older, it offers the charm of shared bathrooms, fostering a sense of community among guests.

What’s the Plan?

  • On Day 1 of your journey, you are welcome to arrive between 3:00 and 5:30 p.m. During this time, you will have the opportunity to settle into your private room, make it your own for the two-night stay, and explore the surroundings.

    We will begin our introductions over our first meal together. After dinner, please dress comfortably and bring your yoga mat to the opening ceremony.

  • On Day 2, we will focus on settling into our practice of mindfulness and self-care. Our day starts with a morning meditation that will help us cultivate mindfulness throughout the day. You can grab a light breakfast to keep you going until brunch. After the meditation, you will have some quiet reflection time before a morning yoga session.

    Once yoga is finished, you'll have free time to prepare for the rest of the day. Brunch will be served around 11am, after which I will conduct a workshop to support our mindfulness, self-care, and compassion practices.

    The rest of the day is yours to spend as you wish to incorporate your practice. You can choose to spend time in stillness, enjoy nature on a hike, connect with the lake, journal, or rest. We will come together again for dinner and end our day with a meditation and reflection circle.

  • We will start our morning with a meditation circle, a closing ceremony, and an expression of gratitude. We will then enjoy breakfast together and take some time to connect. As a co-op, we will help restore the cleanliness of the lodge before saying farewell.

FAQs

  • If you're looking for a relaxed, rustic and supportive environment where you can connect with yourself and other women, are willing to create a safe space for others, appreciate the beauty of nature, and approach the experience with an open heart and mind, then yes, this retreat is definitely for you.

  • Meals will be prepared by chef Stace Hill. At registration, you will be invited to provide us your dietary preferences so we can create a menu to accommodate your needs.

  • A $200 non-refundable deposit is required at time of registration as part of the first instalment (totaling $997.00). Instalments paid (minus $200 non-refundable deposit) are refundable until June 20th, 2024. Any cancellation made between June 21, 2024, and August 2, 2024, will result in a loss of 50% of the trip price. Any cancellation made between August 3, 2024, and September 20, 2024 will result in a total loss of funds.

    We reserve the right to cancel the trip if it does not meet the trip minimum (if we do, all payments, including your deposit will be refunded in full). However, the Organizer shall not be responsible for any additional fees paid by Guest to any third parties, such as travel companies, airfare, etc. Trip cancellation insurance is always strongly recommended whenever making travel plans.

  • Sorry, this weekend is all about YOU.

  • This retreat is slightly different than a vacation. Our intention is for participants to be present, mindful, and fully engaged in the workshops, their environment, themselves, and the other participants. Due to this intention this an Alcohol-Free Retreat. No Alcohol will be offered or present at the venue at any time. We appreciate you understanding the value in this, and we look forward to sharing this experience together.

  • Typically, the weather has been in the low to mid 70s. However, as you know weather is not reliable. So, layer up. Bathing suits to warm jackets and beanies. Hiking shoes and flip flops.

    You are welcome to bring a kayak/SUP to paddle on the lake. Please bring your well-fitting life jacket. FYI! Water activities are at your own risk.
